In the 19th Century, l'Epicurien was a delicatessen in Paris, specialized in fine jams and preserves. From this start, emerged in 1982, the current company specializing in jams of course, but also in confits, chutneys and fine preserves.
This extraordinary jam is sweetened with Cane sugar, as was done in the old days. Fruit contents are between 55% and 70%. No additives, no preservatives.
The name in French is so much prettier: Creme de Citron (lemon cream).
Ingredients: Cane Sugar, 15% lemon juice, water, centrated butter, pasteurized powdered egg yolk, pasteurized liquid egg white, agar-agar (jellying ingredient)
