Product Description
These are reproductions of botanical prints by Philip
Miller. He was the chief gardener at the Chelsea Physic Garden from 1722 until 1771.Among other remarkable accomplishments, he was the one who sent the first long strand cotton seeds to the new colony of Georgia!
These were first planted on Sea Island and gave us Sea Island Cotton. He introduced a large number of plants to England and contributed enormously to the science of botany.
