Product Description
Antique European small wall hanging, hand embroidered red work embroidery, depicting guardian angels, with cherubim in the corners. This would have been hung in a child’s room, most likely. It measures 16 inches square. There is a break in the cotton at a bottom corner as shown, probably from being tacked up and taken down for washing repeatedly. Now, viewed in daylight, it looks fine, but under fluorescent light blue shadows appear throughout. We managed to capture this a bit in the last photo, but it comes and goes depending on lighting, which is strange but a matter of fact for this piece, so be advised.
