A huge set of sixteen matching antique, circa 1905-25, linen damask napkins, simple weave design of satin border with windowpane-check centers. Edges have the tiny diaper-check weave typical of higher-quality German damask, for stability and style. They measure 22” square, an excellent size. Some have never been used; some appear to have been used perhaps once, then cleaned. A set this large is a great find. Excellent condition; well-stored.
