Product Description
Prettiest carnation flowers embroidery never-used fine pure cotton set of two matching single sheets and matching pair of European pillow shams all with a monogram H. R. . These were obviously custom ordered and stored never used e still in their original folds and never washed or used. Perfect condition. This pair of unsed sheets is free of the usual buttonholes on the edges that were normally on sheets of this period in order to fasten them to blankets - the buttonholes were never added. The shams are made with two rows of buttonholes and would have had double-sided buttons rather like a cufflink e you can sew two buttons loosely back-to-back to replicate these but it is much easier to simply sew a button over each one of one of the sets of buttonholes and then button as one would regular buttoned shams. The sheets are singles and measure 59 x 97 and the shams measure 31. 5 x 31. Excellent unused condition.
