Product Description
Great find, a very large antique 1910s to 20s French informal linen damask tablecloth set, big cloth and twenty matching napkins. The cloth measures 113 x 67 inches, and the napkins measure 27.5 x 25.25 inches, very large. The napkins are hand hemmed, and the cloth has a machine hem at two ends. All pieces are in excellent condition, but there are some small, light gray spots here and there, a few on the cloth and one faint little pink one, shown last photo, and the little gray spots are on many of the napkins, darkest shown second to last photo. Since French linens in particular were conscientiously maintained, we will assume that these little marks are permanent in nature, if not much of a distraction. They may respond to treatment and wetting and sunning, but the set is being sold as it is, and is priced at half what it would otherwise be priced. Very large, heavy item, a lot of linen. Very clean and well stored, too.
