The Marietta Store will be closed Thursday October 28 and Friday October 29 so we can prepare for the Open House and decorate for the Holidays.

Our European Holiday Traditions displays and Open House will be on Saturday October 30, from 10 to 6 – we will have door prizes, gift baskets, drawings, food, drinks, and lots of new items to see – please join us!

We will re-open on Saturday October 30 at 10 AM and resume our regular schedule, Tuesday to Saturday 10 to 6.

The weather was gorgeous, typical Georgia in Spring, sunny and beautiful!  And we had fun – despite the occasional glitches but then that’s what ‘soft openings’ are for.  We have a while until our big opening party (sign up for the newsletter to get notified!) – so we’re just taking it one step at a time.  We had a fun day with familiar and new faces, and great comments and compliments, all nice to hear.

We took tons of pictures and will continue to do so – and because a picture is worth a thousand words, here are some thirty thousand some words! Our wonderful group of creative people did a fantastic job, from the ordering, the buying, the organizing and the decorating, and especially keeping things running smoothly while we were trying to get this up and running and keep the regular online business going at the same time. A big huge thank you to everyone (and you know who you are!)
