Easy Dessert : Panna Cotta with Fresh Raspberries (and other variations)
This is such an easy dessert, and it’s always delicious!
1 Cup Milk (I used 1% and it was fine)
1 Envelope unflavored gelatin
3 Cups heavy whipping cream
1/3 Cup Honey (any type, see note below)
(there are Other Honeys Here)
1 Tablespoon sugar
dash of salt
Fresh Raspberries
Place milk in saucepan and sprinkle gelatin over it to soften. Let it stand 3-4 minutes (stove is OFF).
Turn on stove and stir gelatin until dissolved (2 minutes tops).
Add cream, honey, sugar and salt and stir until it’s all dissolved. Do not let the mixture boil but do ensure it’s all dissolved.
Pour into 6 (or 8 if smaller) wine glasses or pretty glasses.
Chill for at least 5-6 hours.
To serve: spoon fruit coulis over the panna cotta and top with fresh berries.
The best part is that the variations are endless and this is a very, very forgiving dessert.
Suggested variations:
Use Griottines as a topping instead of coulis and fruit
Use Lavender Honey in the recipe, and top the dessert with Lavender Syrup. Or use Rose Syrup and Floral honey.
The variations are endless, if you find a good one, let us know!

Le Cadeaux Melamine Color Coordination Guide – Part 2 Bandol Fruit
Anyone who has tried to match colors when buying online knows how difficult it is. Colors vary on each computer, depending on the resolution, the quality of the display and often the quality of the photograph itself. Our eyes all perceive color differently too. This makes matching anything a challenge.
One of the issues that has come up in the past few months is how our solid color melamine dishes coordinate with the patterned ones. And what seemed at first like a no-brainer, is in fact a bit more challenging.
Colors that we thought would obviously go together, when put side by side, actually do not work.
In an effort to help our customers pick out the best possible combination, we have devised a buying guide that we will divide by pattern to keep things simple. We photographed each design with each solid, so you can see for yourself. And we will give our opinion and rank them according to our personal opinion (and since we have them here, we can tell honestly and without the biais of a monitor, what we feel works).
Bandol Fruit
View the different Bandol pieces
1. With red

A good choice, bright and it does bring out the red in the fruit on the plate
2. With green

A good choice also, the greens are not the same but they work fine nonethless
3. With Blue

Also quite good, the blues coordinate very nicely and it brings out the blue on the border and in the grapes
4. With yellow

Like the other colors, works quite well.
The Verdict
All colors work quite well, this is one of the only patterns where there is no real favorite, so let your color preferences guide you.
