Q: Where can I find information on caring for my vintage textiles?

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Absolutely! We have developed a loyal customer base all over the world, and we work closely with all the major international shippers to ensure safe, timely delivery no matter where you live.

Q: Can you recommend any books on textiles and lace?

A: Please visit our Textile Information Center, Books section. It is constantly being updated and added to, suggestions for additional books and publications are more than welcome.

Q: How will you ship my purchases? What about insurance?

A: Your purchases will be shipped within 1-2 business days. We ship all packages over 2 lbs with FedEx which will include insurance automatically. We do require a signature for packages over $100 in value, because Fedex requires it in case of a claim. We use the USPS (United States Postal Service) for international shipping, not FedEx. For lighter packages we use the USPS and will provide optional insurance if desired.

Q: Where do your vintage linens come from?

A: We no longer carry vintage linens.

Q: Do you have a store (other than on-line)?

A: No, we do not have a physical store.

Q: Do you go to Antique shows?

A: We strive to do at least two antique shows per year - one in spring and one in fall. Usually in Texas. Follow our social media pages and subscribe to our newsletter for event updates.

Q: Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied?

A: Yes. Returned items must be unused and in re-sellable condition. We charge a 10% restocking fee for returns (unless the error is ours)If we do make an error, of course we will be happy to refund your money, including shipping both ways. We take pride in our items and in our service, and will do what we can to ensure you are fully satisfied with your purchases. *Some exclusions apply (we never accept returns on food, bath and body products, liquids). Q: Do you take credit cards? Is it safe to pay with a credit card online?

A: We accept all major credit cards through our Secure Verified Merchant Service.

Q: Can I order something special if I don't find what I am looking for on your site? Do you have other items in stock?

A: We have thousands of items in stock. We are happy to answer any questions, and if we can, to help you find that special item you are looking for. If we don't have it in stock, we can add it to our shopping list for our next European buying trip.

Can't find exactly what you are looking for? Let our buyers find it for you! While we do our best to provide you with a wide variety of products, should you be in the market for something we don't currently have just email us with all the details (and picture, if possible). We have many reputable sources, both in England and France, that shop for us year 'round. While we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fulfill every request, we do promise to do our best to make you happy.

Q: I have inherited some vintage linens, where can I get an idea of their value?

A: If there is a museum with a textile section in your area, contact them to find out if there is an appraiser near you that can help. A textile conservator can also be of help if they know of one. Another good place to ask is a quilt shop. Quilt shops often know textile experts and can help point you in the right direction.

Q: How do product reviews work?

A: For recent orders, you will receive an email within 2 weeks of your shipping date asking you to review your recent purchases. For others, you can post product reviews on each product page using the link below the product description. Every product review will be entered into our monthly drawing, so you could win a $50 gift card! 

Important Fields: Name – the username of the author. Title – sets the title, or brief summary of the review. Rating – the rating given for the product. 5 stars being excellent and 1 star being poor. Comment – where the author leaves the actual product review. Return to Top

Q: Are all your items Old or Vintage?

A: No, we no longer carry vintage items. All items are new.
